The economy is strong and there is a shortage of skilled Accountancy and Finance personnel at all levels. Reed Personnel Services have built, over the last forty years excellent working relationships with the top UK companies, and as a result of continued growth and development we currently seek experienced Auditing personnel to work for leading UK and global clients. Due to continuing success within Financial Services, 6 new Auditors are required to join the existing 3 Partner, 25 staff Top 10 City based Firm. Ideally you are ACA, ACCA or similarly qualified with experience in auditing banks and other financial institutions. Pre-audit scoping and preparation of briefs, identification of audit risks and proposals for resolution. Review of draft financial statements ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards. Preparation and control of audit file and budget. Completion of systems and compliance based audit programmes using modern audit methodology and electronic audit work programmes. Completion of Audit Business Summaries and reports of issues to Manager/Partner Preparation of draft audit reports & management letters. Meeting with management to discuss issues raised, liaison and progress meeting with line Manager/Partner. Supervising junior staff/trainees as required. Appraising staff upon completion of each job. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years audit experience of which at least 12 months should be gained auditing financial services clients. Candidates must also possess strong interpersonal skills, initiative and work well as team member.
